A flow of movement and postures linked together through a steady rhythm of breath, encouraging a process of inquiry within a structure that allows one to be his or her self. Some classes will focus on a specific body part or theme, while others will be more well rounded.
Moving with the breath in a balance of effort and ease has a calming effect on the mind and the nervous system.
Expect both verbal and some hands on personal adjustments to develop a better understanding of alignment and a safe practice.
Classes may also include certain breathing techniques, guided seated Meditation and maybe even some chanting. All are optional.
Oren has been an avid and dedicated yoga practitioner for 15 years, and a Vipassana meditator for 6 years. He is a full-time yoga teacher devoted to sharing an effective practice which is both deeply connected to the ancient wisdom of yoga as well as embracing a modern understanding and research of the human body and psyche.
Oren’s main teachers along the years were Richard Freeman, A.G. & Ganesh Mohan, Leslie Kaminoff, B.N.S. Iyengar, Maty Ezraty and others. He took the best of each and combined it into a non-dogmatic, gentle and compassionate way of teaching.
