Kavita was born into a spiritually established family in Karnataka, India, and was raised with the teachings of Basavanna, one of the most revered spiritual leaders of the 12th century in India. This environment shaped her early spiritual journey. In 2006, she began practicing pranayama under Sri Ganeswer Avadhut in Srisailam and later deepened her practice with Swami Veda Bharthi, a disciple of Swami Rama, mastering meditation and philosophy.
Kavita went on to spread her master’s teachings across Karnataka, impacting over 42 villages. Today, she continues to teach hundreds of yogis and yoginis, from beginners to advanced students, through yoga schools, teacher training programs, and private lessons.
She is currently affiliated with Rishikul Yogashala, Shiva Rishiyoga School, and Mathatitu Yogashram in Varkala, Kerala, India, and offers workshops and training year-round, both online and in person.
